Will Schwalbe will appear at the South by Bookstore to sign copies of “THE END OF YOUR LIFE BOOK CLUB” (2012) following his Book Reading session.
Will Schwalbe is the founder of Cookstr.com, which aggregates recipes from more than 500 chefs and cookbook authors, and powers recipe search for the AARP, BravoTV, and Kaiser Permanente, among others. He is the former SVP and Editor-in-Chief of Morrow and then of Hyperion. He's edited such authors as David Halberstam, Mitch Albom, Bob Newhart, Chris Anderson (THE LONG TAIL), and Tony Hsieh. He's the co-author with David Shipley of SEND: Why People Email So Badly and How to Do it Better (2007). He is also the author of THE END OF YOUR LIFE BOOK CLUB (2012), which spent eight weeks on the New York Times Bestseller list, was an Indie Next #1 pick, and was named by the editors of Amazon number four in the top ten books of 2012. He lives in New York with his partner, and is on the boards of Yale University Press and Kingsborough Community College.
